Reclaimed
The light stopped me in
Place, rearranged, also turned
No further ventured
I toward that oh tempting
Bend leading me far away.
The music stuttered
For only a lithe moment
Then a melody
Caught all fragile attention
Held a lifeline to the day.
A hand brief lifted
Recommended each sail on
The sea a storm calmed
Emotions still, frozen vise
Go on, on; there remains life.
