2022 Creativity Project – Feb. 20

Unsurpassed

The feeling
Touched softly
Held lightly
Security,
A comfort
Never fret
Doubt, fear
Let go
Sent far apart
By LOVE
Which will
Not relent
Taking burdens
Curtain rent.

Haiku
1
Maybe tomorrow
The hopes realized, dreams true
My life adores YOU!
2
My songs I give you
For all, I owe to your LOVE
Jesus Christ, my Lord.

Prompt
What is holding you back, fear of failure, worry over approval? Make an effort, see where it leads you; if your creation disappoints you, try again.

Camellia Haiku – © Jo Ann J. A.Jordan

It is refreshing to see the color begin to return. The weather is still cool, but it is a little brighter.

CC Express replaced Adobe Spark. The backgound above and the font come from there.

Prompt: You might enjoy sampling what is available at CC Express. There are many options. Create something.

The poem above is a string of three haiku.

I hope you will like, follow, and share what you find on Haphazard Creative. May you enjoy the remainder of the weekend. May Jesus Christ bless you richly.

2022 Creativity Project – Feb. 18

I got up at four this morning, showered, and started laundry. I am still trying to get my bed back together.

I took my body pillow, which has been with me for years, and put it on my headboard. I was not sleeping with it anyway. I used it as a shelf. All the stuff I lug to bed was on it with it under the cover. Now, I can see it.

Love is not all who you care for; it is also who loves you back.

God’s Love is greater than all ours.

Remember people who have lost someone significant; it can be devastating even as time has passed.

Be kind to yourself. You need love too.

I am sorry my creative juice is low; I am a tired person now. Better luck tomorrow.

Climate Change

The mountain still stands
Though we walk all around it
Sometimes climb over,
The trees wag their heads at us
Whispering, “We will be here –
Only rocks will last
Until future forgets past;
Your bones richen the grass.
We will rustle your verses,
The sun touching the sea will
Sing with a magnificence new –
Oceans will come and go
But the likes of your being
Will again, never, be known.”

Whom To Blame

If all the devices
Stopped working would we rush
Out the carpet
Of our conviviality and be
With ourselves together,
Or is it too late?
Could we thrive without
Those trappings of our consolation
That we believe in
With very little consternation –
Stores with closed doors
Vehicles dead on highways
In a feverish frying heat,
Planes, ah, what planes,
Would we know what to do –
Could we survive
When we are forced
To love one another
More than a phantom image
Appearing on a screen?
Whom do we blame for neglecting
What is no longer as dear to us?
We swallowed the pacts whole
Giving up creative control
Losing parts of  our bold
Personalities which heretofore
Were essential to our lives.
Could we find conversation
Without  reservation,
One hopes so
It could mean the survival
Of our civilization.

2022 Creativity Project – Valentine’s Day

Making Possible The Impossible

Everyone feels defeated at times; the world and its problems overwhelm the mind and emotions. Personal setbacks also seem insurmountable, but creativity, positivity, and prayer help everyone overcome.

Prayer can settle the mind and help ideas arise, which upset can cloud. Having a possibility outlook, where positive material is brought into the intellect regularly, also adds confidence to a person’s toolbox. Creativity may supply unusual solutions or unique rationales that incite action and bring courage.

Asking others to share a burden or soliciting advice can be helpful, but these can also confuse. Many things require individual attention. There are deep wells of ability in each person when accompanied by a belief in oneself.

Treating others and ourselves with love is advised by the Bible, and it has many benefits. It gives the right impetus to allow us to conquer impossibility and rids us of many negativities which seize control and convince us of inadequacies.

Remember, sometimes goals are not accomplished immediately; great things may require a commensurate investment of time.

Dragon’s in Love – Jo Ann J. A. Jordan

Happy Valentine’s Day! – May love always find you and fill your life with encouragement and inspiration.

Prompt
Smile, look at yourself in a mirror, and say, ‘I believe in myself. I can fulfill my dreams. I am loved, and I love who I am and am becoming.’ After these affirmations, work on a creative project formerly neglected because it is a considerable challenge.

Gratitude List
I am thankful:
For central heat.
For warm clothes.
For things my Mom taught me.
For hope.
For God’s love holding me even when I do not notice.

Thank you for your time. Please like this post, make your way back, share the site, and comment if you like.
