Short Observation

You all may well know I am not one for bugs… Except, outdoor ants have always fascinated me. As a child, I spent a good deal of time studying them

If you have a problem, and it is too massive for you to deal with, just go watch the ants. Ants do not care how big, how unwieldy, how vicious, how heavy, how they might get hurt; whatever it is, ants tackle it and make it happen. They are virtually unstoppable.

This little creature was moving this enormous piece of whatever when I went out to retrieve the mail. I stopped and took the time to watch. I am not sure where the destination was, but I know the ant got there with its prize. I mean, after watching, I was convinced success was guaranteed.

I am a fan of the tenacity of ants. Sometimes I think humans would do well to be like them. The problem with us, we overthink and get discouraged. We will get distracted or give up. If an ant could tell us something, I am quite sure it would be, “Keep going until you meet your goal and never, no matter what, give up. Do not let obstacles prevent your progress, and ignore the injuries, as long as there is life, you can do it all.”

So, there you have it, a lesson from my good friend the ant. Remember you are so much and so precious, love has you all the way.
