Positive interaction is a significant boost to the confidence and well-being of those around us. Kind words and gestures help prevent depression and despair.
As we communicate through creative means, we are gifting with elements of our hearts. When there is trouble, the most effective remedy is love. Comfort is conveyed by hugs, generosity, extending help, confirming personal value, and many other kindnesses.
While contact is severely limited for our safety, we should still be close to those we consider our tribe. Family and friends we trust to take adequate precautions should be our continuing connections to some normalcy.
We can never express our love too often. Saying, “I love you” becomes essential because life is a limited engagement without firm guarantees. We are sturdy but also fragile.
We need one another and require emotional support in our relationships. Doubt and fear are widespread. We combat these by investing ourselves in others in any way possible. Creative expression is an excellent outlet we use to encourage, inspire, and lift the spirits of people we value. Being considerate and providing uplifting communication is fundamental to acting out our creativity and making the world a better place.

Creating is like
Diving deep in icy water.
It wakes us up
Revives our will to love,
Give everything to our efforts,
Stake a claim for the life we live,
Encourage, inspire, aspire,
To lives that possess joy,
Reach for happiness.
Let us come out of the depths,
To bear witness to a present,
Future pursuing continual progress.
Prompt: Consider how creativity can make the situation all of us are facing with masks, distancing, quarantine, fear, into a better experience. Create something that brings that to the surface.
Gratitude Today
Alex and I went out for lunch.
I got new brushes since mine was misplaced.
Alex’s cat, who had been missing since before Christmas, appeared today and is now inside as she should be.
I am using a copy stand that dates back to 1981.
Even when I think there is nothing in the well, the well bubbles up with unexpected gifts.
