Let’s Roll

Falling, falling apart all around you;
Knowing I am not, but hoping I might –
Could I be a shining light
Into the pain, hurt, darkness you fight?

I have none of the answers,
Only the hope, love I spend
Pouring like September rain
Touches you, brings smiles again.

We have walked enough alone
Just pick up the phone;
Call, and I will surely come,
Like a rolling thunderstorm.

I strum this keyboard like
It was an instrument which might
Bring some endless delight,
I find it consolation again tonight.

I have lived life in words
So long, can we parse phrases,
Open our hearts in phases
Until we build a refuge, extraordinary.

I believe the impossible
Is a reach we can make, barriers break,
Construct a place for us both
If you let down the fences tough.

Falling, falling apart all around you;
Knowing I am not, but hoping I might –
Could I be a shining light
Into the pain, hurt, darkness you fight?

Be Known

What I spy in us
The arrival of fond dreams
What tomorrow seems
The fulfillment of our means
Tied in the fabric of trust;
What will soon become
More than us apart, alone
Where we find our home
In the sharing – blood, breath, bone,
Who we may, are, shall – be known.

Love Being

Ladies, gentlemen,
Others whoever you are,
I want to make clear
The fact you are beautiful
Just as you are no matter
What you accomplish, how
You survive in this present,
You are much more than enough.
Do not harm yourself with deep
Negativity, dear one;
Precious being of love.

I had this come up on my Facebook memories and thought it a worthy thing to share. I hope each of you knows you are the best who you are, and you are growing into who you will become.

Every day, every year, we are making progress toward who our purpose leads us to be.

Take care of yourself because you are a being the world needs; you have so much love and goodness to share. Never sell yourself short. Build on your strengths, talents, pleasures; you have such creativity. I see all of us reaching new highs, better growth. The opportunity is endless.

An Inhale

I have been thirsty for an age,
Now I have a glass brim-full
I shall slake my need, and still
Perhaps, find there is evermore.

If he only knew how deep is my want;
No, I must not let it show,
I live love; give it space to grow,
It sometimes comes fast, others slow.

Such force rendered with soft inflection,
His briefest touch draws my breath away.
What may I do to shield myself?
I cannot; my heart does willing yield,
There exists no contest on the field,
All my secrets, treasures are revealed.

It would be a heart-ache, heart-break,
Were he not my match – gentle, tender.
He is very dear bringing cheer,
Sharing delightful smiles without guile.
I can only quickly steal away to spend
The moments he spares – day by day.

When the repast sits upon the table
We will come and dine at such time
As we are prepared, able,
I, like someone dreaming of a fable.
