A lifeboat holding us safe
When storms run rampant.
Are, it is what we can share
That is meaningful.
2. For education.
3. For pets.

I always want images and color with my words, so I am experimenting with it a bit again. I, after all, once published a magazine.

If you have not done it yet, create something today. Life is too short for leaving your vision trapped within your brainpan. You are creative, believe in you, and make do.
When you hold it in
The palms of outstretched hands
Remember how you
Thought LOVE, a most precious gift,
When first you recognized need
To welcome it here
Making the giver a part
Of your becoming
Owner of fond dreams, all things,
Grand offers life dispenses.
Never let it go –
Fade to the burned-out darkness;
Treasure the light LOVE
Shines even as days fly by,
For LOVE lifts us, undying.
*****
Listening to music,
pondering life,
wondering about LOVE,
what it means,
what it does not.
Coming in on the side
of the angels with
belief LOVE is the meaning
of all and everything.
Of course, you should
know already, I believe
that bit of TRUTH.
Life can change in
a moment, the touch
of a hand, can reset
the best-laid plans.

The explanation was a paragraph, and like everything lately, it morphed.

Too much, all too soon,
Yet, just exactly what is
Needed, less than is
Properly wanted to fill
A heart, broken and remade.
Giving the last ounce
Then finding the well still full
Love overflowing goes
But answers are ungiven,
Wonders often blissful grow.
Power unsettles
The expectation of who
We may finally
Become when embraced, taken
Near the heart’s loving center.
The future, forward
Like a hidden legacy,
Wrapping lives into
Togetherness unforeseen,
Unsettling obstinacy.
An unselfish gift
Still returns, rebounds, resounds
To bring happiness
Which fills deserted spaces
Uplifts reality.
In the middle of
A life fully out of sync
Creativity
With its sweet gift of loving
May make the movements complete.
Too much, all too soon,
Yet, just exactly what is
Needed, less than is
Probably wanted to fill
A heart, broken, then recast.

The Wednesday Prompt 521 at Poetic Asides, I think, the website is redone, is an “Unsettled” poem. This poem is a series of Tanka joined.
Today has been a nerve-wracking day because someone got into my bank account. I decided I did not wish to do that unsettled. When your life depends on numbers when someone messes with it, it is spooky.
I hope you enjoy my little poem. If you like what you find here, look around a bit, and if you choose, follow the site, or return when you may.
