Fear Abates

I cannot really say a lot, but I will say things have changed and I believe for the better. I have a computer that works so well I can do creative work I have only dreamed of before. I have been to Wal-Mart, where I had quit going because I was afraid; a few times. Today, I was given a gift, picture below. I went to MicroCenter and got a new holster for my phone because mine was three years old and worn out.
Someone cares enough to talk to me regularly, I get hugs, and I do not know, we shall see.

Sometimes I wonder
Being a curious sort,
Do we know people
Or do we know them only
As we imagine they are?
The explanation
Of how we wrap others up
In our thoughts, hopes, dreams,
May explain relationships
Being awkward to maintain.
When the hologram
Stored with mental notes in mind
Is inaccurate
Compared to the true person
Acting out in present time –
Worlds begin to clash
Configurations may crash,
Curtains pull away
We are all left gaping on
The bare stage; reality.
Perhaps endeavor
To better acquaint ourselves
With who we may be;
Encourage others to see
Us in actuality.

As a prompt, can you relate something out of the future or fiction to some mundane question and create a work that embodies it? There, you have your assignment, go multiply your thoughts, and enhance your talents.

Well, as usual, Mr. Squier proved a tremendous inspiration. There is one mistake in this I did not catch before I put it on the glass. I can live with a little imperfection when I have been reading loads of it in eBooks lately. I am generally good at catching my faults and heavily berating myself over them. Yeah, gotta LET IT GO!
I told you all I had four pages left in the journal, well, it is now full. I have to find a new companion to see me through the Summer. Not sure about that thing at all. Choices, choices, ain’t that the burn of change? The dog will bite if you don’t put him right in his place. Color, plain, patterned, thick, thin, wired, bound, cheap paper, something with tooth, dot, lined, blank, leather, paperboard, wood – see, you know I have to think this over. It is much more a thing because I take my journal everywhere I go. I never know when the need to write is going to ambush me. You know I write a little bit, well, LOL!
