BOGO Lead

Very well then, now,
It is what it is, always
It cannot be changed.

As, ever, you were,
Make yourself comfortable;
Your life is your own.

Carry on, doing
Things that facilitate joy
You deserve your best.

Our love is a door
Held open, a passage through
A step together
Into the present alive
Building futures, extreme dreams.

As a  prompt, take a common phrase or several and use them as a starting point to create. Enliven the creations with meaning perhaps gained somewhere else.

I am grateful:

  1. Alex had a safe trip and obtained his objective.
  2. I finally got extra sleep last night.
  3. I finished reading an eBook.
  4. I may get a super birthday present. Depends.
  5. All the blessings of my life, too many to count,

When the quiet haunts,
The doubts seem set-up to stay;
Christ wipes them away.

Believe in your dear held hopes and dreams, but move forward. Banish doubt, you are much stronger and more capable than you may think. Blessing to you all. I hope you found something of inspiration and you will find your way here again. Roaring 2020, be bold, brave, and excellent.

Challenge

When it starts, begins,
We can be lost in spaces
Neglect our talent
Because we do not believe
We have power to succeed.

Often told a lack
Is what we may call our own
Creativity
Shown not a ship, but a stone
Weighing down until we drown.

Somewhere in our hearts
Strong compulsion to more become
Feeds the hungry soul
Making us practice, pursue,
Overcome all limitations.

Every creative
Knows work is a trial, battle,
Entropy attempts
To end creation without we
Express imagination.

To write words, draw lines,
Take the shot, play or sing songs,
Speak the line clear, loud,
Embrace creativity
Designates us, reality.

Unsaid

2020-02-09_haiku

Haiku is my garden. I find stones, roses, butterflies there, moss rarely grows. With vigilance, a seeker can come away with an altered state of mind.

Alex has been driving today, I spent over six hours on the phone with him. I am a little spent.

I needed a post, this is a post. I might be back or not.

I hope all of you have a gracious evening.

Thoughtful

I write from my heart
Hoping to touch another
Who might need insight
To better comprehend living
From the inside to the out.

&

When you deal with living things,
you cannot choose when they go
or when they stay. All you can
do is continually pray.

&

The soul of you
The soul of me
Are joined together
Until we shall choose
To come apart, go free,
But love, can you not see;
I want you forever with me.

&

Music is a communal experience, but even in live
performance, to no small degree, it is entirely personal.
We can listen to the same song and come to our
individually differentiated conclusions.

Intention to Devotion

Love is filtered through
Who we are in each moment
Experience determines
What we choose to risk, how, when,
And decides who we believe is
Worth the investment of our lives.

We are careful creatures knowing
Our hearts, minds, are not to be
Turned over too easily, so freely
We want to be treasured, held dear,
Because each of us is aware
Love is a potential weapon to maim and kill.

So we reach out gingerly
Watching for reaction, acceptance
Hoping our tenderness is returned,
But ready in seconds to run
If there is an indication we should
Retreat before the pain gets deep.

If we set ourselves open to let
Another in, we are directing
Our lives, real enough to love.

The temptation to quit is one we must continually push away if we are to become the people we are meant to be. We do not have the luxury of taking our eyes off our objectives if we wish to be the best of who we can be. Some things seem to us good, but we are after better and best. We cannot settle for less.

Run well, be blessed, follow your dreams with your whole heart.
