Imagine Yourself The Bee…

It may be impossible,
But it does not
Give license
To turn
Away;
In fact,
It conveys
An even larger
Open opportunity
To embrace it with Love.

Prompt: What is Love inviting you to embrace today? Employ your Creativity to produce a form that may ignite hope in another heart.

When – Other Days
Beauty
Arcs
Edging toward
What remains,
You
Elsewhere;
Like a missed
Kiss,
Undone by
Someone
Who could not
See
Togetherness
As our
Property,
Poetry.
Wretched
As one must
Be to
Suicide,
Living
To wake,
An absence;
You gone –
Forever –
Loving
Alone
In emptiness,
Desert.
You with
Who you
Found =
Enough.
Friction
Between our
Parts,
No sound;
Symphonies
Played strings
Streams –
Us –
Maybe
We could,
But someday
Death arriving
We will
See again
(Face to Face.)

It might be that Summer is riding us at the bit, overwrought, needing a cool spray to recall our senses. Ah, Texas, I miss my woods. These days exhaust!
Prompt: What simmers alive with you now? Create something to evoke the tension in your audience. Share it if you wish.
I Am Grateful:
1. I have a library card.
2. I have settled routines (most times).
3. I have been journaling fairly regularly.
4. Creativity on tap.
5. Blessings despite trials.
Storms
We cannot forget
All the hurt now happening
But in dark, shines light,
Love’s generosity gives
More good in each, everything.
Storms can be deadly
But look closely, a blessing
Is often conferred
In midst of endless trouble
Heaven reaches down to Earth…
The soul is released
From pain’s harsh captivity
Given a fortune,
Window on eternity,
Become creativity.
The world with us much
Though we are not dead, conquered,
Prayer fills our being
We are apt words, spread pages,
Eternal Love in motion.
Gifts showered around
We, sudden overcomers
Through the Trinity
Holding us so capably,
Compassion obviously.
Storms may surround us
Still, God is our strong Fortress
Nothing destroys us
Though we may barely survive
Jesus calls once more, we thrive.
Our Savior’s great Love
Poured out, ample devotion,
We mightily held
Through storms, our sweet redemption –
Love given, great compassion.

Memory
We are all within
Package (universe) contained
God, our lives, sustains
Whether we acknowledge it
Is our choice and does remain.
How we recall is
Not exactly clear to us
But still is with us
From beginnings to endings
Come whatever, and it may.
Time is ineptly
Measured by the mind: moments,
Hours, days, months, years, lives
Slip past us, not lasting, fast;
Some are kept, others alter.
Who we are remains
Mystery in memory
Rewritten pages
Who are we to truly trust?
The answer is left to us.
The choice defines us
More deeply than surfaces show
And no one else knows
Between the soul and Spirit
Truth is only fully shared.
Memory written
In the Heart of Jesus shared
Forever in God.

Did you diagram sentences in school? Please answer in the comments.
Sometimes, I think poetry stems from some of those exercises as I recall them, at least in its form. I probably apply it in a haphazard, creative manner. Did you see how I did that? Of course, you did. You are precious and worthy of favor.
I love you! I appreciate your taking time to read this post. I thank God for you.
I am grateful:
1. There was trash to take ou;, it means we had food to eat.
2. You read this post; it means I wrote something today beyond my journal.
3. I went for a walk outside even though it was hot here.
Prompt: Write about your concept of memory. Share if you wish.

Do you struggle with this? I admit I do. Anything I post that suggests an action or reads like an injunction is aimed at the first person, myself, before anyone else, like you.
Among the changes I have lately endured, I became separated from most of my possessions. I am learning to hold on lightly.
I struggle with trust, but I believe God abides with me. I know the Holy Spirit can go before us and prepare our paths. I believe there has been leading in the house being available to Alex almost immediately, some guys in a truck letting us know the tow rig for the Explorer came loose and was held only by a chain on our way from the hotel to this house, my finding a church home for us on the third try, and now having someone who helps me with things I cannot handle.
I am excited that I am not left strictly to my own devices because I can mess things up badly. God is in control, I thank Him for it.
I have begun reading a book titled Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem. I did not realize it was a textbook until Amazon alerted me. I mentioned it to Alex today, and he commented that it sounded like something he might study at ACU. I guess it will be a long read because I want to look up the verses it gives when expressing a Biblical truth.
I am also reading Shadows of Winter by Lindsay Buroker, which is a sci-fi novel. It is a much easier read; well-written, and fast-paced. I also have some reads I neglected to finish that I need to finish up.
I wonder if you are ever set upon by AI and have to ignore it to retain your voice. It makes it such that I rather write longhand. I am also abysmally slow as a typist or texter.
I hope you have an awesome rest of your day. May God’s blessing be upon you all along your way.
