2022.05.08.Sunday – Mother’s Day – Project Creativity

Do You?

Know the rain coming down, ravens,
Have the heart to mend the brokenness,
Sing the songs whispering within,
Hear what is never spoken again,
Fear the shadows between letters,
Doubt whatever meant to be,
Believe sharing love best when tested.

Know the child hidden inside,
Have enough to give without blinking,
Sing loud and not falter when heard,
Hear and speak the silence of trees,
Fear worth is too little to measure,
Doubt the well will produce pleasure,
Believe all is precious, priceless treasure.

To all the Moms and their Children

PROMPT: Create something or find something created only for yourself; share it! I did.

The app DIARO is pretty neat for a journal on devices. The share or export command may leave some formatting issues when coming to WordPress, but there are workarounds, as usually there are.

If you have not watched the show, Umbrella Academy, maybe you would find it excellent. I binged the second season (ten episodes) at once. You may recall I rarely imbibe video in more extended versions.

I am thankful for my son, Alex; he has been a boon to my living all his days. My gratitude to God for providing such blessing is unending.

2022 Creativity Project – Day 6

Open the door on a new-fangled year. Somehow it seems unclear who is going on. Will a pose be stuck to endear, or are all acts sheared away.

Maybe everything is unformed as the void was before the Word gave life. Words are the tools to sculpt the way, whatever means each day.

1
I
Light the
Chalice
With a
Headstrong
Libation
From
Somewhere
Distinct
In memory
And moment,
Motion
To see
You
Again.

2
The work
Never stops,
The war to
Keep together
What battles
Left me;
Meaning confused
By voices,
Whether his or
Mine,
Unknown.

3
I sing
Like,
Maybe,
Someone
Would
Take
Interest,
Still,
As usual
I am plagued
By fear
And doubt –
The both
Block
My
Music
Out.

4
Sleep,
Soft ones,
So dear –
Life is
A balmy
Evening,
Where ravens
Appear.

One through three are tanka; four is a haiku. I gave them unconventional line breaks to add emphasis.

PROMPT
Consider something you have created; take it to another medium or form. Please do not presume to know what you make until you take directions you did not first use.

Appreciation
1. Even when I fall, I find the way.
2. What no one knows.
3. Still learning.

Thank you for your time. Follow or come back if you want to do so. Your likes and recommendations are appreciated.

2022 Creativity Project Day 1

The ever Beautiful Miss Wookie has wondrous monstrous designs on 2022! She and I wish you worlds of blessings in the New Year!

There is a pause to
Breathe before hurry begins,
Listen to the wind;
Restless relentless beating
Of a heart, like waves breaking.

A lot has been, but focusing behind can be a liability. This year beckons in a new gown with a bright face, crowned without tarnish. Embracing new endeavors with hope, joy, and wonder can allow opportunity and possibility. Adventure exists; seeking it is the challenge.

This is post one of 365 days. Join me here, at the inception, and we will go wherever the leading takes us.

Gratitude List
I am Thankful:

1. Holidays were spent with family.
2. My son and I remain close.
3. I have friends on whom I can depend for support.
4. I have creative avenues in which to invest.
5. I am still standing, despite it all, still standing. Onward, heed the call.

PROMPT

Survey the past, let anything negative go best you can, or at least for the moment. Imagine what you want the future to be and create from there. Should there be goals you are ready to hold, enumerate those if you wish.

Action

If you have any comments, ideas, or suggestions to share with me, those are greatly appreciated. You may leave them in the comment section. Please be sure to like this post, and if you wish, follow by reader or email; both are available for your convenience. If you rather, find your way back here as you may.

Unyielding

I have been told
I should yield
To the ordinary
Settle down
Settle in,
I considered it
Once,
But then again
I have too much
Difficulty
With those like
Them.
I am too
Different,
Too loud,
Too much
To bridle
Who I am,
I bring
Creativity
In order
Wherever
I am.
Life is
Love,
To inspire,
Encourage,
Bring
Wanderers
To be found.
I am unable
To slow down,
Time goes too
Fast to let it
Pass without
Living it sound
Aloud.
