Beginning ANEW

Handmade Journal

I finished ‘However, Whatever, Wherever, Whenever, Why? Volume 13,’ a few days early. After careful deliberation over my choices, I chose this journal handmade by Disabled and Homeless persons. It may have been stored for as many as 25 years. ( I keep things forever.)

I am considering beginning a new Creativity Project on Haphazard Creative and Chronicles. I do not know where 2023 will open doors or lead me, but am excited to begin it.

I hope the New Year will bring us all many blessings and joy. If you like, join me here, and we can explore possibilities together.

Best wishes for your wellness and growth. Be prepared to accept the abundance coming your way.

We are all treasures from the hands of the Creator, and good things are stored up for us. We must be courageous to grasp the opportunities that come our way. Walking into the future with Love, good fortune will find us.

Always and Ever,
Jo Ann

Sunday’s Thoughts

I wrote these with a fountain pen, which is not my best instrument. These are my journal pages. If you read them, you will get insight into where and what my state of mind is.

I would have scanned them into the computer, but my equipment and the program did not cooperate with me. Therefore, I did the phone as I have for the past months.

Showing journal pages is a level of openness I can do, but it is a bit uncomfortable. I have no idea how this audience will react, so it is a gamble.

How revealing can you be? Consider that a prompt.

Blessings, I hope, always find you. Jesus, lend you peace. Live, alive, and Love cause that is why we are here on Earth.

Music, reading, and writing are balms to the soul too wild to slow down. Attention becomes affixed, and gaps in time no longer seem to yawn. Apply the salve to better continue.

2022 Creativity Project – April 5

Review: Current Reads

I want to share two of the books I am reading:

Inspired by Rachel Held Evans is the book I did not realize I needed until it took hold of my heart, mind, and soul. If you ever felt uncomfortable with some of the complex parts of scripture and wondered how they could be explained in light of God being a good, loving, and just deity, this might be helpful. The answers may not be easy, but at least this book enlightens and gives you a position of solidarity.

Lore by Alexandra Bracken follows the other mythological texts I seem to keep reading and shines brilliantly. This is a modern struggle between gods and humans in a race for survival and ascension. The writing is beautifully done, and the pace never lets one slip into boredom. I am enjoying it immensely.

I know Christianity and myth are not always embraced together, but I like a little lite with my seriousness. I am always in search of variety.

You might like one or both of these.

Blessings embrace you
Every day in all things, ways,
God be your love, peace.

2022 Creativity Project – March 28

1
There is a feeling,
Extraordinary, when
A new book opens
And the reader goes within
To travel worlds, places, times.

2
Reading is such joy
To be caught up in story,
A shiny new toy.

3
It is  cumbersome
Bumbling through every day,
Searching for a way
Outside the hive of struggle
Into a higher state, life.

Thank you for visiting Haphazard Creative. Please come back soon, share with others, and if you did, share a like.
