Entry Two

My work continues today. I did art, which is a a promising thing. I also wrote more, which you may judge for yourself.

The magic of a Creativity Project is I work more. I must tell you. I love this new journal. The paper is recycled, and it is fantastic.

You may notice that my ink varies. I have an abundance of pens and change them out with each page. I love pens. They are great tools.

Prompt: Challenge yourself to do something you usually avoid within your creative sphere. Share it, as have I, if you dare.

Thank you so much for visiting my site. I know your time is precious, and I am honored you spent some with me. I hope you found something to encourage and inspire you. If you appreciate my effort, please leave a like or a comment. These are always a help to me, giving me an indication I should continue.

Always & Ever,
Jo Ann

Final Tidings, Opening Thoughts

Entry One

This is the final portion of my journal that I finished at 11:59 pm, Saturday, December 31, 2023.

Pardon my use of the word enemies; until recently, I had believed myself without the degree of hostility fostered toward me that warrants the use of that term, but I now conclude there are some persons and organizations who so qualify.

Following is the first page of my journal for the year 2023. The anger I explore in the poem was and is toward Wookie, my dog, who upset me almost further than my grip on my emotions could sustain. I happily inform you that the beast is alive and well.

I hope you proceed into this promising New Year with peace and joy. We have much for which to be thankful over the past year, and we can meet 2023 with positivity. New blessings and greater abundance await us if we will but welcome them into our lives.

I am confident that we can go forward in good spirits, knowing improvement may greet us if we avail ourselves of the wonder of Love and live within its grace.

Beginning ANEW

Handmade Journal

I finished ‘However, Whatever, Wherever, Whenever, Why? Volume 13,’ a few days early. After careful deliberation over my choices, I chose this journal handmade by Disabled and Homeless persons. It may have been stored for as many as 25 years. ( I keep things forever.)

I am considering beginning a new Creativity Project on Haphazard Creative and Chronicles. I do not know where 2023 will open doors or lead me, but am excited to begin it.

I hope the New Year will bring us all many blessings and joy. If you like, join me here, and we can explore possibilities together.

Best wishes for your wellness and growth. Be prepared to accept the abundance coming your way.

We are all treasures from the hands of the Creator, and good things are stored up for us. We must be courageous to grasp the opportunities that come our way. Walking into the future with Love, good fortune will find us.

Always and Ever,
Jo Ann

Rise Up

Inspiration Comes

It was a tearful day, like any number of other days. The losses weighed, and regret played, but somehow, something, somewhere, changed. It was as if a door opened, and a bit of hope took root in a heart for whom so many dreams had become moot.

The rescue climbed up, licked away a speckling of tears, and gave a look that conveyed, ‘You saved me; it is why I am here, and for that, I give you what comfort exists in me.’

There was a miracle wrapped in the space between those two, born of Love, fragile but true.

Whenever, wherever compassionate, kind, passionate hearts, even across species, or perhaps especially so, meet, Love is fully unleashed, and new dreams, music, stories, and worlds grow to bless lives as onward, outward the sweet generosity of spirit, souls goes.

Every time someone, whether human or other living feeling being, reaches across the chasm of indifference and tries to impact life positively, Love can take hold and change the fabric of reality through the miracle of creativity.

A heart broken by missteps, mistakes, trials, and troubles can learn to trust, take a chance and embrace life, Love, and fully live again.

Each of us is to others a blessing, a gift, a magic, a miracle who lives to present an opportunity to become most precious in one another’s lives. We are our helpers, keepers, and inspirations for greater and greater greatness.

Alas, and Away

You wanted me once,
It was already too late
You were walking out
The door on your way elsewhere
Falling for somebody else.
I always wanted
You from the first, beginning,
Like a childhood crush
Way, way overdone, too much;
Love, still falling into you.
Now, so far away
Living, we are avoiding
Any chance to see
One another because, here,
Love holds us close together.
Keep on, keeping on
Apart from being with me
Go on; you stay free
By this late date, you might find
My heart has left you behind.
I have to remind
Myself, I am doing fine
On my own – alone
This love just a memory
Never a reality.
Still, keep yourself there
Stay away now; only fair,
Because ah, perhaps
I could be somehow convinced
You have a place for me, us.

Nobody needs another broken-hearted love poem, dangling on, like yesterday. It’s what all the best people say, anyway. However, I have enough love left over to keep writing these things, forever.

So forgive me again, for this time, when the night could not keep me in check, I wrote it. Whatever did you expect? No, you know better; you should see the letters. Together, no never, but love unrequited, it is remarkable as a dream, in deep Winter, of Spring bringing its breezes.
