I doodle when I am trying to soothe myself. What do you do when you need to reach calm?

Everything today converged to make getting things done difficult.

Sometimes plans run amok, I lack necessary control. Do you ever get lost in things and time slips on you? It often occurs to me that despite efforts to the contrary I am floating unanchored. Only the present exists and it is an area wild. Who holds it? God, I suppose, but does He cede the reins that each of us drafts our activity? Live life alive sweet subtle self 🌟 serene.

I am a creative and I appreciate some of AI functions. However, when it downright changes my words, I want to dismiss it entirely.

One reason I persist in doing much of my work by hand is keeping AI out of creation. I want my voice, not some sanitized spiritedness.

Anyway, I hope you have checked in with yourself ☺️ today. It is essential to be kind in your dealings with yourself. Self-empathy allows you a more even attitude with others.

Sometimes, typing puts me in a wholly estranged space of creation. It can be a good thing. I lighten up a little. Finding myself suddenly thrust into a sky high attitude I lapse into calm.

Prompt – Try several modes of creating: text, handwritten, art, graphic design, photography, or otherwise. Examine how your mood may change. Decide if you appreciate the differences.

Busy bees buzz bushes…

Here Again, I Begin

I have been doing things and keeping busy. I am sure you have, too. I have hung out on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter much less than I once did. I find I believe Social Media is less than sociable. I am opting for more conversations by phone and meetings in person.

I have some things to share, and I hope you will be informed and interested. I have recently completed the first draft (a very rough one) of a book project I hope to finish by year’s end. I have to flesh it out, design, intensively edit, and possibly publish it. I will be updating progress here as I continue.

I am visiting my son, Alex, in Brownsville, Texas, where he works for Space X. It is a real treat seeing him daily after he spent so much time at a distance. I caught him and Maui on the beach recently:

I wrote a few journal pages today. I only have my phone to photograph them with, which is not the best input device, but I hope you can enjoy them.

Gratitude List:

I am thankful:

1. Time shared with loved ones.

2. Being alive and at least somewhat healthy. There are pains, but not so much that I cannot smile.

3. Adventures of time and space.

4. Love given and recieved.

5. Creativity in various and plentiful forms.

As a prompt: Pick something recently seen or done and create a work around it. Use whatever media you choose, then share it if you like. Your story has meaning and is important.

I believe miracles
Happen every day.

Writing is therapy.
Reading carries us
Where we did not
Know we needed to go.
All beings are unique.
Talking to things
Sometimes makes
Things happen.
Devices are a way
To become anything
We can dream.
We are loved
Tremendously.
Creativity brings

Over forever.
God is LOVE!
